Full access to the SWARM Fellows program and community is $399/year.
For perspective, similar programs that include dedicated coaching and white-glove support often cost $800–$4,000 for 8–40 hours of live instruction. Some professional associations charge annual fees that are 2–10x higher for little more than access to a single event, a badge of affiliation, and an inactive forum, Slack, or Discord. We believe a high-quality, value-driven experience should be financially accessible to individuals.
Mid-to-Senior practitioners that have worked with AI technologies since before 2020 and are driven by community, credibility, and the compounding power of network effects.
Early-stage professionals or trend-chasing newcomers primarily driven by quick wins, personal hype, and transactional networking.

You get several benefits as a SWARM Community Fellow:
1. A comprehensive program to align past experiences and your future goals.
2. Year-round, white-glove support system.
3. 4 networking mechanisms to ensure you regularly meet with practitioners in adjacent disciplines.
4. Encouragement and facilitation of sharing your expertise through podcasts, the newsletter, or events.
A key function of a living, breathing community space—virtual or otherwise—is the frequency and quality of interactions between members. We create the space and the procedures to help you meet and nurture high-quality relationships through four built-in mechanisms:
1. Warm introductions within the community as soon as you join
2. Monthly networking mixers, where members are paired for a one-time conversation
3. Quarterly Cyber Pals, where members are paired for a 13-week series of conversations
4. Ad-hoc networking opportunities that emerge through events and presentations
The SWARM Community is not a mass-market, transactional platform trying to make a quick buck. This is not a $10 course where you watch an hour of content and walk away with a certificate. This is not a $10,000 bootcamp that promises career services or jobs. And this is not a group that calls itself a community, only to deliver empty forums and stagnant member interaction.
The purpose of the SWARM Community is to cultivate a high-trust environment that augments and elevates the capabilities, work, and goals of its members. Our members are practitioners who are actively exploring, designing, building, or applying AI technologies to solve real-world problems. We’re here to build lasting relationships that extend beyond a single event or conference, exchange original ideas grounded in lived experience, and sharpen our craft through deliberate practice.
You do not need a formal technical background, but you must have meaningful exposure to AI in practice—either through hands-on work, adjacent role experience, or sustained self-study. You should be comfortable with foundational AI vocabulary and able to participate in discussions without needing constant basic explanations. If you’re joining from a non-technical background, you’re expected to bring curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to learn rapidly through active participation and peer exchange. We will be sure to provide you with any supplemental resources that will support your own self-study.
We have a great variety of people join the SWARM Community, including;
Researchers, Ethicists, Educators, Designers, Engineers, Solution Architects, Entrepreneurs, Policy Analysts, Machine Learning Experts, Ontologists, Knowledge Engineers, and whole host of AI technology specific experts (NLP, NN, GNN, LPG, Data, Governance, etc).
The important shared thread is to be involved in a space focused on continuous learning and continuous improvement efforts with a respectful, diverse group of perspectives.
Absolutely, contact us with context of what you need!
Facilitated peer-to-peer interactions is a core part of being involved in this community of practice. If you have any specific questions within the program you have Joaquin, and if you have any particular technical question that is escaping you, we are more than happy to share resources and/ or match you with someone who might be able to help you on your way.
The SWARM Fellows program can readily be completed with 1.5-2 hours of involvement per week. And to maximize your benefits within the community, we recommended you budget 1 hour per week for networking interactions.
The SWARM Fellows program is both. There is a component of the program that is self-paced with a sequential set of short videos and mini-assignments accompanied by worksheets. And there is a live component of the program where we invite you to immediately take advantage of networking interactions and finding resources that are relevant to your objectives.
The SWARM Fellows program has been designed with the busy professional in mind. The video lectures and mini-assignments are lean resulting in quick-wins for cultivating clarity and a positive sense of accomplishment. If you happen to "fall behind," we're here to support you when you have time to participate meaningfully throughout the whole year.
Yes. It will help you do all three by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, feedback, and community to proactively shape your continuous education efforts as well as to meet people with similar objectives.
Career growth, positioning, AND credibility are ultimately in your hands to cultivate over the span of your life. We can help you wield power tools to do all three faster and deliberately.
People in this group have become friends / colleagues through dozens of interactions and have a proven record of being credible, warm, and open to sharing knowledge with each other. They say what they do, and do what they say. If they are at fault, they recognize opportunities to learn and grow. You can rest assured that you are engaging with people who will not judge or criticize you when you encounter obstacles or limitations. Another really important quality of SWARM members is that you can rest assured that kindness and appreciation is reciprocated through words and actions.
People in the community have become involved through participation (speakers / attendees) in SWARM events or through SWARM podcasts / publications. They are vetted based on a track-record of positive interactions, fantastic personalities, and solid background / experience in their area of expertise. They come highly recommended through existing relationships within the SWARM ecosystem. It is also very nice to talk to them.
Conversations are driven by individual contexts and goals. When we provide warm introductions, we share sufficient background on each person and suggest mutual interests or projects that may resonate with both—helping facilitate useful, relevant conversations. Topics can range across anything related to AI technologies and their real-world application. Examples include:
1 How do you construct a neuro-symbolic AI architecture with a voice user interface?
2 How do you incorporate deterministic technologies, guardrails, and monitoring mechanisms in agentic swarms?
3 How do you create a FAIR data product that can be used in downstream machine learning operations using linked open data?
4 Where do you begin showcasing and teaching the capabilities of [INSERT YOUR AI TECHNOLOGY OF CHOICE]?
After you complete the SWARM Fellows Program, you’re always welcome to stay active through ongoing networking and knowledge-sharing events. If you want to build on a pet project or launch a working group, we’ll connect you with members who share your interests so you can drive focused, productive conversations. We take operational discipline seriously, and we’ll help you invest your time and energy in ways that create real momentum. And if you’re a busy professional who simply wants to stay connected to the bleeding edge of innovation, you can stay in the loop through member-led sessions, shared resources, and the community’s ongoing media and presentations.
